MSC offers two main full-cruise internet packages. The biggest differences are what you can do online and a device rule that can matter more than travelers expect.
| Feature | Browse | Browse & Stream |
|---|---|---|
| Unlimited data / full-cruise access | Yes | Yes |
| Web, email and messaging | Yes | Yes |
| Video and music streaming | No | Yes |
| Video chat / higher-bandwidth use | Limited; performance not guaranteed | Designed for it |
Browse is intended for routine connectivity such as websites, email, and messaging. Browse & Stream adds the higher-speed access needed for streaming music and video and is the better fit for travelers expecting heavier internet use.
MSC sells multiple-device options and allows guests to upgrade their package or add devices, up to the limits shown for their sailing. An upgrade from Browse to Browse & Stream is possible; MSC says you pay the difference. Downgrades are not available.
MSC describes its full-cruise internet packages as unlimited-data products, subject to a fair-use policy. Satellite service can still vary with the ship's location, weather, congestion, and other conditions, so unlimited data does not mean guaranteed land-like performance.
MSC says a one-device 24-hour pass can be purchased onboard. It activates at first login and expires after 24 hours.
MSC advertises pre-cruise savings compared with onboard pricing. Because actual prices can vary by sailing, compare the offer inside your reservation rather than relying on a generic price quoted for another ship or date.

Tell us when you want to travel, where you'd like to go, and what matters most to you. We'll help identify cruise options that fit your dates, budget, travel style, and cabin preferences. Not sure which cruise line, ship, or itinerary you want? That's completely fine — many travelers start with nothing more than available vacation dates, a departure port, or a general idea of where they'd like to go.
Only know your available dates? That's enough to get started. You can also review our Find a Cruise by Date Guide to see how we narrow cruise options around a fixed vacation window.
