Traveler Insights

Real experiences shared by cruisers who have sailed this ship.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Favorite Part: My favorite part of Harmony of the Seas was spending Thanksgiving week with my family and enjoying the ship’s atmosphere together. I really enjoyed Central Park—it was one of the standout areas of the ship. The live music there, especially the jazz group, was fantastic and added a really relaxing and enjoyable vibe. The musicians were also very friendly and made the space feel welcoming and special.

What Surprised Them: What surprised me the most was how much more crowded Harmony of the Seas felt compared to other Oasis-class ships I’ve sailed. It still had a lot to offer, but you could definitely feel the volume of people onboard, especially in popular areas. I was also surprised that, while the ship had more dining options, it still felt noticeably busier and less spacious than expected for an Oasis-class experience.

Advice: My advice would be to manage expectations around crowds, especially during a Thanksgiving sailing. Even though Harmony of the Seas is a large ship with plenty to do, it can feel very full during peak holiday weeks. I’d recommend planning ahead for shows and dining to avoid peak times when possible. Also, while the Aqua Theater and musical productions are a big part of the experience, they may not appeal to everyone depending on the show. If entertainment variety is important to you, it may be worth reviewing the specific shows ahead of time so you know what to expect and can prioritize other experiences you’ll enjoy more, like live music in Central Park.
